MERCY HOUSE
While Mercy House serves as a mission base, offering lodging and support for mission teams from the U.S., it is much more than that. It is a place where pastors are trained and equipped, conferences are held to strengthen and encourage all believers, and Christians from across the region come together to be empowered by fellowship and support. Our vision is to equip and empower local believers to impact their communities for Christ by providing the resources and training they need to carry out the Lord’s work effectively.
M&G offers an education sponsorship program that provides monthly financial aid to families of elementary and secondary school children in the Yoro Region of Honduras. Our first program is in Los Chorritos, a village lacking electricity and running water-- homes are simple one-room huts. The community has one elementary school with two teachers serving around 100 students, but resources are extremely limited.
Join us in our mission to raise awareness of the physical and spiritual needs of people in Honduras. Through a variety of mission trips, we engage in medical clinics, pastor and marriage conferences, Vacation Bible School (VBS), construction projects, local church outreach, hospital visits, ministry to those living in extreme poverty—including in garbage dumps—and community feeding programs. By educating and inspiring individuals in the U.S., we seek to build a passionate network of people committed to giving their time, prayers, and financial support to make a lasting impact.
